I had to purchase the restore DVD's to get the laptop working again. HP did not supply the HP TrueVision HD software within the Restore DVD set (the original WebCam software) but youcam. And yes I am more than sure that someone, no many people have posted about this little problem before but I will be the one to post up the same question as asked before.
I stated the replacment DVD's where wrong but they will have none of that. The drivers website has a small driver update for a 'Foxlink webcam' but they will not correct this either. You don't find out the foxlink webcam error until you try to install the update. No Battery Is Detected Vista Hp Problems. Can anyone here help? I realise the product is old bit it suited my purpose for training as I used the TrueVision webcam with Skype Thanks Brian.
