Hp 510 Sound Drivers
Download HP 510 (RU961AA#ABA) sound card drivers for Windows 7, XP, 10, 8, and 8.1, or install DriverPack Solution software. The HP website claims the 510-a010 has 5.1 channel audio. I have a logitech z506 system properly connected to the 3 jacks in the rear panel. All I can get is stereo. I think I need to reconfigure the back panel jacks but do not know how. Have tried several drivers - current version is 6.0.1.7673.

As I mentioned in my post, I tried several drivers, including 7824, all with the same issue. The older driver I mentioned in my post at least gave the option of stereo and quadraphonic, even though no sound comes from the rear speakers. 7824 only allows stereo. It appears a registry hack is required to reassign the rear panel jacks.
Install Mcrypt Php Extension Centos 6 here. It is in local machine system currentcontrolset control class etc. For the realtek driver. Hp Compaq Dc7100 Ethernet Controller Driver Windows Xp on this page. I hesitate to mess in the registry. I would be willing to pay a reasonable amount to HP if someone can guarantee the sound card will work as stated in the HP spec.
Thanks, Russell. Um, as I stated twice, I have used 6.0.1.7824 downloaded from the HP site. Prior to my last post, I downloded it again and reinstalled it. Thru control panel sound, the 'Realtek HDMI output' tab you describe simply does not exist. Stereo is still the only option available on playback devices for speakers. There is not a 'supported formats' tab anywhere on the sound page. The problem is jack assignments.
